Who we are.
We are a group of like-minded persons who share a love for Prince Edward Island, its people, history, traditions and land. We are welcoming to all who wish to live here as contributing members of our Island community and will not condone or accept any expressions of racism or bigotry.
While we believe that PEI benefits greatly from many corporations that provide career opportunities to our citizens, we also believe that our province belongs to its citizens.
We believe that both media and corporations must be held to the same standards we seek to apply to government.

What we do
We monitor all important aspects of the growth and development of PEI and identify issues of strategic importance to the future of PEI requiring special attention, analysis and engagement from the public in order for PEI to prosper economically, maintain social cohesion, protect its land and sea while maintaining its unique character.
We provide a forum for public discussion and study of issues of strategic importance, providing the opportunity for the public to work with the best provincial, national and international organizations and specialists in the required field and to develop sound and constructive policy recommendations and then work with the public to advocate for such recommendations.
We advocate for:
- Excellence and use of best practices in the operation of the work of the government.
- Government transparency and accountability.
- Corporate responsibility.
- Respect for the voice of the public.
We increase the level of public engagement and participation in the democratic processes with regard to work of all levels of government.
We educate the public on their civic rights and freedoms under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, encourage and empower the public to participate in debating proposed policies and advocating for the agreed-upon optimal policy recommendations and ensure the rights and freedoms are respected in the work of the government.
